This program is administered by the Department of Environmental Protection. “Resilience Planning Grants (RPGs) are available to Florida communities. The purpose of these funds is to promote community resilience-planning in Florida’s coastal communities by supporting: Complying with “Peril of Flood” statute (Sec. 163. 3178(2)(f) F. S. ); Vulnerability assessments, other than that necessary for compliance with Peril of Flood; Adaptation/resilience plans; and Regional collaboration efforts. Up to $75,000 may be requested per grant, with grants due in October 2020.
