This program is administered by the Department of Transportation. Developed by the Department of Transportation the CCGp provides grant funding to projects that improve the bike/ped experience in CT by providing grants for municipalities to implement construction of small-scale infrastructure improvements. A focus of the program is on underserved communities (low income, elderly, children, limited English proficiency and persons with disabilities) to obtain an equitable transportation network. Funds can not be used for acquisitions, utility relocation, public engagement, and engineering. Limits for infrastructure improvement projects are between $125,000 and $600,000. Applications are due in October 2020.
